Where is los veranos canopy tour located?
Los Veranos Canopy Tour takes place at our private reserve located in the heart of the Sierra Madre, which is situated approximately 10 km south of Puerto Vallarta. It is approximately a 25 minute drive from the downtown area. On the way to our property, you will experience the drive along Banderas Bay and travel through a couple of local villages.
How difficult is the zip line activity?
There is a moderate amount of hiking from one zip line to the next one. Some steps and a 10 minute walk on incline and dirt trail will be required.
I have someone in my group that is not interested in zip lining, can you ride along and enjoy the property?
Absolutely. We offer a “Transportation Only” option for a fee of $20 USD. They will be entitled to enjoy all of the benefits except zip lining. The property is amazing and located alongside the Horcones River. Bring a book if you like!
Will I get dirty, what should I wear?
We would recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes with a heel strap (preferably tennis type shoes). We always recommend bug spray too.
Can I bring a bathing suit and towel?
Yes, we have lockers to store your belongings. Weather permitting. During the rainy season, it may not be possible to swim in the river.
Will I need to repel or get wet?
This tour does not involve any repelling or dunking in the water. The only way you will get wet, is if it rains or if you jump in the river!
Are lockers provided?
Yes, we provide lockers free of charge.
Are there water stations on the tour?
We have several water stations located throughout the zip line tour.
Is food and drink included?
No, though we do offer a full restaurant and bar service. You pay for whatever you choose to order.
Can I take a camera on the tour?
We do not encourage customers to bring cameras on the tour since many are dropped and cannot be recovered. We do allow customers to bring cameras if they have a wrist strap.
Are gopro type cameras allowed on the tour?
Yes, as long as you are wearing this device with a chest type attachment harness. Sticks are not permitted.
Are pictures and video available for purchase?
Yes, we have a staff of professional photographers and videographers.
Can I take this tour if I am pregnant?
For safety reasons, we do not allow any participants to go on the zip line adventure if they are pregnant.
Should I bring money for incidentals (lunch, tips, etc)?
Yes, since we offer a full restaurant, bar, pictures and video, they will be available for purchase at the end of the tour.
How long is the tour?
Depending on your pick point you can estimate approx. 5- 6 hours.
What is the closest pick up for cruise ship passengers?
We offer a pick up location that is a 5-minute walk from the exit of the cruise ship terminal. It is our “Soriana Playa de Oro” pick up location.
What is the minimum age and height?
The minimum age is 5 years old and height is 40 inches.
What is the maximum weight allowed?
285 lbs. / 129 kg.
Will the tour be canceled in the event of rain?
No, our canopy tour operates in the rain or shine, but water activities might be canceled due to weather conditions.
